Questions

Does it track run hours or meter readings?

Not as a first-class scheduling trigger — schedules are calendar-based today. You can record readings in maintenance notes, but MachineKept will not yet trigger a task at 2,000 hours. This is an honest limitation, not a roadmap promise.

Can I manage parts inventory?

Yes. Part number, quantity, unit cost, supplier and reorder point, with automatic purchase-order drafting when stock crosses the threshold.

Can I assign work to specific technicians?

Yes, with priority and due date. The assignee gets a push notification sent from the server when work is assigned or reassigned.

How many assets can it handle?

Growth covers 250 items across 5 locations; Premium removes the limits. Very large estates should talk to us first rather than assume.
