Can I track vehicles as well as shop equipment?

Yes — a service vehicle is an asset with a schedule and a history like any other. MachineKept is not a telematics product: it does not read odometers or plug into a vehicle.

Does it store inspection certificates?

You can attach photos to equipment, which covers a photographed certificate. There is no dedicated document vault.

Can technicians log their own work?

Yes. The technician role can create and close work orders and log maintenance, and cannot change permissions.

Does it do customer repair orders?

No. MachineKept maintains your equipment, not your customers' vehicles. It is not a shop management or invoicing system, and it does not replace one.
